Discuss the movies - I took this away due to lack of use and ads
There are so many free documentaries on the web that make for great viewing and education. Here is a list of links for anybody to watch at their leisure. These sometimes get taken down so please report any broken links here.
Despotism and democracy - how does a society rank?
Mayor Rocky Anderson is an absolute dude - stick it to FOX, stand up for the people!
A little bit about the miracle of life, and how the future will be in how we reprogram it to create our "Eden". and a little bit about developing a brain theory.
In this Agenda special, Richard Dawkins takes a very Yaon position, stopping short of calling the developing moral conscience an open source collaboration, and then calls for the need for atheists to organise. Following this, other religious representative speak, and amazingly some agree with him. Despite all of the confusion created, what they are actually all talking about is Yoism.

War on science
Why we fight - This is a great documentary about why conflicts are taking place today. Very insightful stuff. Thanks to Darius for this one!
Century of the Self - Parts 1 - 4 - Adam Curtis delves into the origin of the Neo-Con mindset, Fascism, and modern Capitolism. A compelling BBC documentary. It also helps explain much of what is going on inside of us.
America: Freedom to Fascism - Aaron Russo (director of "Trading places") takes an in depth look at the American tax system and comes up with some surprising results. Apparently, American's don't have to pay income tax? Unlike Australian's, some of whom pay $0.47 in the dollar. Crazy stuff!
Derren Brown is a "psychologist magician" who does many "tricks" through different suggestion manipulation techniques. Here he does some "instant conversions" and shows a very interesting and scary instigh into how religious memes spread.
Terence McKenna - AKA "The real Tim Leary" as quoted by Timothy Leary. Here Terence talks about DMT and the role of psychadelics, and how they can deconstruct an ego.
A Brief History of Religion - No mention of Yoism though :(
Muslim Mosques
Inner space/ Outer space
A conversation with St Stephen Colbert - While this isn't particularly pertinent to everything discussed here, Stephen is the man and he shows why here.
Richard Dawkins on the difficulty in leaving a faith - Here he discusses overcoming the obstacles to forgetting faith and awakening the social conciousness to accepting non-believers, at the end he also learns something about the anger experienced by those confronting the logical paradoxes in their heads.
Jesus Camp - An expose on how some Christians are indoctrinating youth in order to combat indoctrinated youth from other radicalised religions. The full version was on Google video for a very short time, however, here are some selected excerpts.
Steve Jobs on death - This is a interesting speech from Apple CEO Steve Jobs. He fails to metntion Steve Wozniak in the early part of the speech, but more interesting is his comments on death and how important it is. The link goes straight to this part but you can rewind it to hear the whole thing.
Denial - The magic of PR in the Global Warming denial campaign
Torture inc, America's Brutal Prisons - This documentary explores how we treat people in privatized prisons in America. I'm of the firm belief there are no bad people, just bad idea, and I think that this is evident on both sides of the system. We need to re-examine how we rehabilitate people because it is a horrible environment for people incarcerated and people working in the system. It clearly isn't achieving the outcomes we are looking for - I even think publicly viewable security systems would go a long way to helping this problem.
An Inconvenient Truth - Al Gore's movie on climate change

The Yes Men - Thiswould have to be one of the funniest, most entertaining expose's on the truth, and telling it like it is.
Interview with Steven Weinberg - Also from the notable physicist files is Steven Weinberg. Another Nobel Prize winner, he is somebody who has come to a Yoan conclusion about religion, and isn't afraid to talk about it and confront alternate world views from faith based religions. Very eloquent, and endearing, Stephen explains some interesting reasons why religion fascinates him so much. He wrote this article about a designer God.
Interview with Richard Feynman - This documentary discusses the meaning of science in today's world, the wonders of physics, and how we should approach life's great questions and our place in the universe from a rational point of view.
A little bit about human psychology

Here are three very interesting insights into human psychology - the first is the most interesting, covering Solomon Asch's conformity tests - Solomon Asch, Jean Piaget, Sir Frederick Bartlett
This experiment was inspired by Solomon Asch.
